Debate between the Green Party and the Socialist Party






































Date: 
Monday, 9 March 2015 Venue: Unitarian Church, High StreetSwansea SA1 1NZ
Starts at 7.30pm.  Each candidate/speaker will have 10 minutes to present their case, followed by 30 minutes of questions from the audience, ending with a 5 minutes summing up from each of the speakers.

The debate last night in Swansea with the Greens attracted 19 visitors and 9 members. Their candidate focused on a more robust tax system to provide the investment for the environment, welfare and community. A member mentioned they sounded like old labour.

But i agree it would be advantageous to have both speakers contributions recorded so we could have made our own judgements on the worth of either's argument rather than a one-sided review, no matter how honest it tries to be.

This is a video of a debate between the party and Glenn Morris, an arctic explorer, on the environment. A friendly, comradely discussion of many shared positions which led to Glenn joining the SPGB.
